Take a look at this site:

You can see that many different kinds of furniture items are refered to as "case goods". There seems to be no single term in Portuguese which comprises all of them.
Case goods is a term used to describe various types of cabinetry, chests, desks, bedsteads, tables and chairs.

Case Goods Case goods is a term used to describe various types of cabinetry and
non-upholstered furniture pieces which have certain function or
storage capabilities. Examples include chests, desks, bedsteads,
tables and chairs.

With the company's focus diverted to the war effort, the business installed a lot of woodworking equipment. When the war was over, it figured Harden might as well go into the casegoods business. Case goods is a term used to describe various types of cabinetry, chests, desks, bedsteads, tables, and chairs. "So the company went from- case goods to upholstery and back to case goods," he said. Currently, two-thirds of the company's sales are in case goods, while upholstery makes up the remainder.

The context, specially the time (late 30´s), suggests that the expression is not related to on-site mounting, but rather with individual pieces of furniture, sold as ready-made items.

One last suggestion. It should be clear by now that you won´t find a single Portuguese word or expression that matches 'case goods'. So, if no deeper specification is needed, I think that you should simply use the term "móveis", that fits the context. Some information is lost, of course, but I think this solution is less awkward than the ones we have proposed up to now.

: The expression "mobiliário pré-fabricado" is too broad and includes other items which are not case goods.
