Discussion

Noni Gilbert Riley Apr 13, 2010:
Category Wouldn't this post be better under another heading - either literature or general? It certainly doesn't strike me as a question of a technical automotive term.
malamour (asker) Apr 13, 2010:
Hi Lori..
The city in the context is Paris.
Lori Cirefice Apr 12, 2010:
setting? what country/city/time is this scene set in? maybe that would help to understand what this is about.

Are you asking who was arguing?
Example sentence:

People were waiting for a bus under a street light by a green stripe. When the bus arrived, there were arguments because there were no longer any call numbers.

Note from asker:
Thanks... But why the absence of the call number (of what? whom) made arguments? That's what I don't understand clearly...
Peer comment(s):

neutral philgoddard : I agree with the asker - this doesn't seem to make any sense in the context.
