Hi all,
This is from a text on Tunisia and is the first sentence in the document. I am not very happy with the use of 'self' three times here to be followed by an object and I can't seem to fit in the idea of 'epuration' with the rest of the sentence.
"AUTO EPURATION, AUTO VALORISATION ET AUTO GESTION DE L'ESPACE MEDITERRANEEN PAR LES PAYS RIVERAINS"
Any ideas welcome.

Without reading the article, it's difficult. "Self-cleansing" would be by the sea itself, while in the title it seems to apply to the Mediterranean Basin countries (they must do everything themselves). Otherwise, I would have stuck to the style in French (which usually abhors repetition, whereas English doesn't). Hope this helps!

is how the French seem to be getting away with it as a buzzword. However, take note that "auto-épuration" is technically a natural process:
