"Brewing" is the term used by Siemens for its coffee machines. I personally prefer "brew". Not sure if it fits your context, though.

My understanding is that Bezug is used here in the sense of etwas beziehen (to obtain sth.). Option isn't really a direct translation of that but it might do the trick.
