This is a document on a company's incentive plan for board members and managers. All I can think of at the moment for 'im Promillebereich liegen' is 'is tiny'.
The sentence is as follows:
"Die Vorstandsverguetung aus dem Program ist verglichen dazu im Promillebereich und ganz klar leistungsorientiert".
At the moment I'd probably say that the amount awarded to board members is tiny in comparison, but am lacking inspiration and think there must be something more eloquent.
Will really appreciate any ideas.

sorry - am putting this here, although it was suggested by Ineke Hardy, because of the spelling issue, and I can't figure out how to answer where it would be better (what button to push - any suggestions?). The American English spelling is *negligible*. (I did make a mistake with the *a* at the end, but if this document is for an American client, it should be spelled in American English.)
