In a business context, teamwork seems to make the most sense. The only other suggestion I have is human interaction. Or even social, if that fitted the context in any way (e.g. social interaction in the workplace)

I have a problem with "togetherness". It fits sometimes but not always. I have thought about "teamwork" or "coexistenz", "cooperation" "the way we work with each other", "interstructural relationships" they all work sometimes but the term comes up often in the document and I just can't get the right "color" if you know what I mean. Patience Helen, I am sure I will be struck with a brilliant idea!

Not quite. It seems they want to say that togetherness can get out of hand if it is not kept in a structure of established relationships. Drink with him, but he still is the boss.

Seriously, though, I'm pretty well certain that "relativieren" may also be understood as putting something into perspective.

And I also think that it should be a "relationship-matrix". (Oodles of ghits on that.

Hi Andrew, yes it is ironic but as it is a communication between two parties I am careful about interpreting too much into the text. Thank you for the comment. Need to maybe reconsider. By the way - what does downgrade to the status of ......what??

I think the comment is ironic: Nice idea to reduce teamwork to a mere social matrix (but not really nice)
