Marriage Certificate
Hello all,
This is an abbreviation on an Austrian marriage certificate which occurs after the address of the husbands details, extract as follows:
"Wohnort: [address details], (Kfl.)"
"Tag und Ort der Geburt: [birth date and place details], (Kfl.)"
Ideas welcome!
Plse respond in English, many thanks.

: This is an Austrian certificate, and your link describes terms from Germany. I doubt that! Lindsay, is the address of the husband an Austrian address or a foreign address? That might make a difference.

Comment: "Hello, many thanks for your time on this but we have to decline for 2 reasons:
1. "Kreisbetrieb für Landtechnik" meaning "District operations for agriculture"
has no relevance in the context, that is, after a person's place of residence and place of birth.
2. Also, the registrar was contacted and we found the actual meaning in this case to be: "Konventionsflüchtling" meaning "convention refugee."
So we learn soemthing new every day : ) thanks again for your interest.
Lindsay
