German term

Putz und Vlies

German to English Tech/Engineering Construction / Civil Engineering
This is a document that contains comments by architects on a building project. I received it with some parts already translated from German into English. The sentence containing the term is as follows:

• Interior wall : Angaben zu Putz und Vlies fehlen

I've researched these two words - Putz and Vlies - do they refer to "plaster" and "matting". Or is it a combined term that refers to something else I haven't come across? Thanks in advance for your help.

plaster and matting

I'd translate this into: *plaster and matting not defined*. Fits in your context, I don't know why you might think of "something else".

However, I'm puzzled with your "car rental return policy". I assume you meant "construction" as with your other questions?
Note from asker:
Yes, the "car rental" heading was from a previous project. Thanks for your suggestion.
