Mittels einer mechanisch-biologischen Vorbehandlung wird das Abwasser in seine gelösten und ungelösten Anteile getrennt und damit die organische Fracht um 40 – 60% reduziert. Optional kann auch das restliche Olivenöl im Abwasser von 0,5 – 1,5 Vol-% separiert werden.
