tendenziell

I'm having trouble translating tendenziell. Any suggestions very welcome.
Thanks

accordingly

if instead, in the course of strengthening security, freedoms are restricted and every kind of criticism, protest and demonstration is accordingly branded as "terrorism"
Peer comment(s):

disagree Reuben Proctor : accordingly would be "dementsprechend" and doesn't convey the tendency

disagree Reuben Proctor : "any form of" or "any kind of" is singular, therefore "tends", not "tend"
