Snow generation
From a presentation about the artificial snow-making equipment at a ski resort. Appears in a list of the positive features of the resort. Again no context.
Maybe I'm trying to read something into this that isn't there, but it seems odd to have "iciness / icing up" (something I take to be more negative) in a list of positive features. Could there be another definition?

snow icing
may fit if it is a "raw" list of features and sound a bit more targeted to ice up where it is needed (i.e. NOT on the road). Glaciation I believe is (and I google-ed it to be) rather a very geological expression used more for effects of the ice-age ... unless the resort it purposely trying to create glacier-like skiing conditions.

icy periods / icy stretches
Guessing at contexts here:
icy periods e.g. x weeks when the conditions are very icy
or
icy stretches e.g. there are two km on a certain piste where ice might be encountered
