German term
9-er Skala
German to English
Marketing
Marketing / Market Research
Skala: **9-er Skala** mit den Ankerpunkten „stimme überhaupt nicht zu“ - „stimme nicht zu“ - „weiss nicht“ - „stimme zu“ - „stimme voll und ganz zu“
I can't find a definition of this kind of 'scale', but it seems to be used in surveys and market research a lot.

That's what market researcher tend to say. (I've been involved in this for nearly 30 years.)

I've seen your comment to milinad:
Take a close look at your original: The five statements mentioned are called "Ankerpunkte", i.e. the person writing this down was too lazy to fill in the blanks ("stimme eher zu", "stimme eher nicht zu", etc.).

Comment: "Thanks, Brigitte. Your answer to my comment makes some sense, though I've never seen a survey with that many options for answering."

on the scale of nine
in the surveys the respondent is supposed answer the questions by grading on the scale of nine i.e. giving point from 1 to 9 for each of the queries
Note from asker:
No, I don't think so. Respondents are supposed to evaluate statements with from "strongly disagree" to "strongly agree". There are only five options. |
