German term
Namhaftmachung
German to English
Bus/Financial
Real Estate
Context - terms and conditions of Austrian estate agency/realtor:
"Die Provision gebüurt Firma X auch dann, wenn sie in anderer Weise als durch Namhaftmachung verdienstlich geworden ist". I think it needs to be expanded along the lines of "...even if it is earned in some way other than through the introduction of a prospective purchaser,", though I'm not sure if that's actually what it means.
Any ideas welcome!

Comment: "Yes, I think this is right (I interpret it in the sense that the estate agent is nominating the buyer/tenant). Thanks."
