Wichtig ist auch, dass Du alle losen Ausrüstungsgegenstände vor dem Segeln mit einer Leine sicherst. Das betrifft vor allem das Schwert (9), die Prütz und das Praddle. Auch ist es wichtig, dass Du Deinen Mast (17) mit einem Bändsel oder einer Mastsicherung (12) sicherst.

they certainly mean - as suggested - Pütz = bucket seemännischer Ausdruck für einen Eimer, mit einem Ende Tauwerk am Bügel auch als Schlagpütz bezeichnet, zum Aufholen von Wasser verwendet
