German term
farblich gepowert
German to English
Marketing
Textiles / Clothing / Fashion
"Insgesamt wird sowohl bei Baumwolle als auch bei Leinen farblich gepowert. Die Stoffe sind in diesem Bereich eher clean. Ebenso sind die Modelle in diesem Bereich fein und sophisticated."
This is part of the description of a fashion collection for next year. This particular section deals with this company's cotton/linen items.
There is no picture to refer to, unfortunately. The only reference to color up to this point in the text was at the very beginning of the entire text, where "die Explosion der Farbe" was mentioned as one of the general trends for this particular 2005 season.
I can't contact the customer until Tuesday (due to the long weekend in Germany)to find out what is meant here for sure. Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions as to how I could render this in a snappy way in English?
TIA

color makes a powerful (overall) statement etc.
Something like: Color makes a powerful overall statement in both cottons and linens.
(I'm using "cottons" and "linens" rather than the singular forms as we're dealing with the 2005 collection.)

colors come on strong
In general, colors come on strong in both cottons and linens.

Bold and striking colours will be used for both cottons and linens
That's how I would put it, without any explicit reference to "power".

color empowered
Everybody wants to be empowered nowadays. Why not "colored empowered materials"?
