This extract is valid only if it has been authenticated by the signature of the district registrar or assistant registrar. If the particulars in the relevant entry in the statutory register have been reproduced by photography, xerography or some other similar process the signature must have been added after the reproduction has been made. A registrar will authenticateonly the reproductions which have been produced by him.
