Spanish term

L

Spanish to English Law/Patents Certificates, Diplomas, Licenses, CVs Birth Certificate
Libro Varios, Tomo X, L 4XX

Hi,

I'd think this should be "Miscellaneous Register, Volume X, Page 4XX" but I don't think the L stands for page. Could it be "book"? I don't understand why it comes after volume then...

F (file)

From previous work I've done on birth certificates, I learned from a traductor jurado that the L stands for "legajo", which is typically translated as "file". It remains the same across several pages, so definitely not the page number.

My best guess.
