What is the equivalent of "Data Subject" in a legal context?

"Protecting the privacy of DATA SUBJECTS whose PERSONAL DATA is collected or otherwise PROCESSED by the Company; Rights of DATA SUBJECTS: the rights of DATA SUBJECTS may vary under local law and the Company will provide DATA SUBJECTS the rights to access or modify PERSONAL DATA required by APPLICABLE LAWS and as set forth in this Policy and Appendix A;"
