brytlinje

Swabs are often made long to be able to be inserted in ... various openings.
Such swabs often have "score points" (brytlinjer), so that you can shorten it before sending it for testing or inserting into an analysing machine.

"Once collection is completed, swab tip is broken at score point and included with transport media to preserves sample and minimize bacterial overgrowth from time of collection to the actual testing of the sample."

--- See above.

"Placera E-svabb-pinnen i sitt rör, bryt av pinnen och sätt på locket. Märk röret med hästens namn
och datum. "

--- See above.

--- In this PDF, "brytningslinje" occur 12 times. However "brytlinje" is the correct term.

In the provided references, the Swedish term "skåra" is used. An english reference is provided as well, where "score point" is used the same way as "skåra" in one of the two Swedish texts.
