Is this calibration in English?
I have found references to various seed drills where it is called 'test sowing', and it does involve some kind of adjustment of settings to whatever is actually being spread.

I am not entirely happy with test sowing when it is not seed that is spread. The principle is obviously the same, but it does not sound right.
