Danish term

ansvarlig

Danish to English Marketing Business/Commerce (general)
I know this word's basic meaning, I just want to know what it is in this context. Again, there is just a single isolated sentence:

Leverandører sorteret efter ansvarlig global indkøber
Proposed translations (English)
5 in charge
4 +1 responsible
5 global purchasing officer

disagree Robert Creutz (X) : "Global purchasing officer" does it all, concisely, without the windiness and redundancy of your suggestions.

agree Christine Andersen : I sometimes think it sounds awkward in English, but that is what it means - the person responsible or responsible person

global purchasing officer

The term you should be asking for is ansvarlig global indkøber, not ansvarlig by itself, which, as a noun, is "officer (in charge)" of "individual in charge," depending on context.
