Danish term

bobog

Danish to English Other Law (general)
Renter bobog med Jyske Bank kt. nr. XXXXXXXXX

This must be some kind of account, but I can't find a definition nowhere.

Thanks!

estate account

Google shows the term bobog is not very common in Danish. The first part of the compound - bo - may refer to an estate (e.g. bankruptcy estate or deceased estate, see more here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Estate_(law) ) and the second part - bog - can refer to a ledger or another time of account. You can read on the website in the link what an estate account is. Whether this is the correct term also depends on the context.

another time of account = another type of account (sorry, a bit sleepy today) :)

another option is that this guy (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Bobog) has an account at Jyske Bank :P
Example sentence:

The funds may be deposited to the bankruptcy estate account immediately upon receipt.

We can release funds from the deceased estate account to pay for the cost of the funeral as long as there are enough funds available.
