Danish term

/u-i/

Danish to English Medical Medical (general) Speech therapy
This comes from notes written by a speech therapist who is assessing a patient who had a mild stroke.

Does anyone know what the "/u-i/" means here please?

Thanks very much. It sounds quite logical now. Please enter it as an answer and I can enter it in the glossary.

Right off the bat... I would think that it refers to the 'i' and 'u' sounds as you have to form your lips in a particular way for these vocals? Just a thought...
