prestige address

Mayfair is a very exclusive area of London where only the richest can afford to live or work

This company in question will receive mail on behalf of another company, enabling its client to use a prestigious Mayfair address on its letterhead.

In actual fact, the service company will be located in one room in an attic or basement - sometimes the Mayfair premises don't exist at all and mail to this address is simply forwarded to an address in a less expensive area.
