If you are referring to a specific announcement, then this could be correct:
"We don't make the announcement for boarding until the plane is ready"
"If the plane isn't ready, we don't make the announcement for boarding"
Then again, it could be some kind of statement: "We are not making the boarding announcement at this time, as the plane isn't ready"
However, if you mean any announcements at all, in general, then your sentence would not sound correct, and Luciano's suggestion would be correct.
So you see how it all depends on what you are really trying to say?
