X person is moving from a outside temp position to a corporate position
"X" is moving from the temp agency to work as an employee for the company (Corporate)

If "X" is an employee of a temp agency, and he/she is moving to 'corporate', it could well be that airmailrpl is exactly correct.

will be working in the Corporate area of the company
if we just look at the language, it really doesn´t matter if X is a temp.
he was working in the department called Web Design
he will be working in the Corporate department (or office, or building, or floor, or section)
Web Design and Corporate are names given to areas within the organization.
Corporate usually means the Corporate offices, the area where the top executives work.
But a secretary, messenger, temp or cleaning person can also be assigned to this area...

moving to the group/team/department which handles corporate jobs
depending on what else is known about X's circumstances, here's another interpretation: X works FOR the temp agency.
At present, X handles job placements in web design (finding jobs for web designers); X is about to change to handling placements for workers in corporate/head-office positions (accounting departments, etc.).

Please excuse, I thought the person was a temp employee moving to corporate. I agree totally with "airmailrpl"
