Can anyone explain to me what "rack elevation drawings" are and/or provide an alternative that would be used in the UK?

The result of XXX's Audit services is a professional set of deliverables (in hard and soft copy formats) as defined in the project design phase, and may include:
• Rack elevation drawings
• Infrastructure drawings
• Interconnect tables for power, fibre and copper facilities
• Detailed inventory data, including serial number, data codes, and hardware and software versions
• Signal flow drawings
• Digital pictures
• Labelling, tagging and bar-coding of equipment as needed.

elevation drawings of equipment racks

My interpretation would be that these are elevations (i.e. side or front views, not plans) of racks, which would show exactly how equipment is intended to be installed in the equipment rack. These would be in addition to the block and circuit diagrams, to give a very exact picture of the intended installation.

agree airmailrpl : could be piping racks or cable racks also

Thanks, Airmailrpl! Yes, could be all sorts of different kinds, but I think 19" equipment bays is the most likely candidate

agree Ramesh Madhavan : It is indeed the rack. The rack holds all electronic equipment these days and you need the elevation drawings to plan height of the room.
