English Tech/Engineering Construction / Civil Engineering lockout/tagout procedures
Where it reads:

"Insures all employees (who have signed onto the Permit) are protected under the Permit."

Does it mean that it ensures that all employees wou have signed the Permit are protected under the Permit? If not, what does it mean?

"onto" is superflous that has made the sentense senseless.

"onto" is superflous that has made the sentense senseless. The sentense should be "...insures all employees (that have signed the Permit) [and they] are protected under the Permit." or
"...ensures all employees (that have signed the Permit) are protected under the Permit."
