Heinrich Pesch (asker) Jan 5, 2008:
No clue This is something where one could use a baking agent for. No other clue.
Noni Gilbert Riley Jan 5, 2008:
It really could be anything within a baker's repertoire couldn't it. Lesley's hit is interesting. The only thing I wonder is if this is part of a list, and if so, what other things appear, thus to be eliminated from our range of possiblities.

Baker's Surprise, a first-class cake, based on a new mix from Sonneveld

See your question at http://www.proz.com/kudoz/2337046 for Sonnet Variationmix which is also from Sonneveld. I think that it may be a cake mix that can be used as the base for more than one kind of cake. Sonneveld also makes a light cardboard box that can be used for the retail sale of a cake made from this mix.

Baker's Surprise
What is more pleasant than to surprise someone with a cake ?
