I thought at first it was sort of necklace, but the text says: “Wear Location: Shoulder”, and that leaves me wondering.
What on earth could it be? Is anybody in the know?

torqs

they seem to be some sort of light armour for the upper arm or shoulder, usually (always?) with a leather base; can't find a picture (a site has invited me to submit one!) - maybe you can find something on YouTube where someone may have posted a clip of the game

torc (rigid circular necklace)

A rigid circular necklace that is open-ended at the front.

Alternative spelling of torc.
Peer comment(s):

neutral Rachel Fell : yes, but you don't wear them them on the shoulder and they're not leather-padded - something specific to this game and possibly inaccurate use of language, etc.
