English term

place on demand

English Law/Patents Law (general) loan agreement
This term appears in the following sentence:

(...) X shall have the right to imediately cancel the Facility and/or accelerate or place on demand all outstandings (whether due or not) and all such outstandings shall immediately become due and payable. (...)

I understand what "accelerate" means in this context, and "place on demand" must be something similar. However, I would like to know its exact meaning. Thanks in advance.

to make the outstanding debts due immediately

To place the outstanding debts on demand means to make them payable immediately, to accelerate them means to make the payments due sooner than they were originally supposed to be due.
