Drawn under by what? Does it mean that the Pacific plate is crushed by the continental crust of the Indo-Australian plate at the collision?

agree jccantrell : Correct. These are known as subduction zones. Can create more massive earthquakes than strike-slip zones. Oh well, just another day in Paradise on the Pacific rim of fire. :)
