You can "have a gander" or "take a gander" - I think it is cockney rhyming slang (as in butcher's hook = look), but I don't know what the rhyme is...
This sort of slang would be appropriate on a football site.

: According to this http://www.upto11.net/generic_wiki.php?q=cockney_rhyming_sla... it's Cockney rhyming slang: Gander = Gander & Duck = look, but I don't believe it. Duck rhymes with look in some UK dialects but not in Cockney.
