date of intercourse
We're short on context here, but in animal husbandry 'cover' is often used to refer to intercourse.

: If it is a product applied during gestation, this could be the correct interpretation.

Comment: "Thank you very much, all of you. I just needed some reassurance. The word I used in my (Slovak) translation is specific to pigs and thus the difference between "intercouse" and "mating" is not important. This was very helpul. Thank you!"

It could be that the leaflet was badly translated from another language. (Even the explanation in the Wikipedia link below suggests a bad translation!)
The context (veterinary product) suggests that it should be the expiration date (or expiry date in the UK), as these products deteriorate over time and should not be used after the expiration date.

: If you've correctly guessed the context, this could be correct.// Sadly, you seem to have guessed the wrong context. But I'll not 'disagree' merely for that.

I hadn´t thought of your context! "Mating" would be unambigious. In either case, the EN is inadequate. Now the asker has options!... Looks like it. Such is life!

Samantha has very kindly put in the explanation. Stallions cover mares. They don't have intercourse with the filly in the next field!! I am certain however that should either of our two arab stallions get into the next field it would be rape and neither c

: In animal husbandry it is more usual to refer to mating than to intercourse. Both terms describe the sexual act for reproduction, but this one is more commonly met in animal husbandry.

: I think it would need to be "dates of mating". The use of a drug often depends on when an animal was mated, and seldom on when it will be mated, which is always an unknown factor.

Unless the drug is being used prior to mating.
