Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

Non-PRO (1): Richard Benham

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

summer casual

when you think of California, it's common to think of the beach... California casual would be more summery and a more funky than NY casual.

Also, there's a whole book...
http://www.mjdtools.com/books/151416.htm
California Casual: Fashions, 1930s-1970s, by Maureen Reilly. 176 Pages. Clothbound. Casual clothing, swimwear in particular, is strongly associated with the California lifestyle, and the design and manufacture of casual clothing has long been the foundation of Californias garment industry. This book explores that industry as it developed in California from the 1930s through the 1970s, with emphasis on clothing and textile designs suffused with the sunshine spirit. Included are fashions from major swimwear companies such as Catalina, Cole, and Rose Marie Reid; sportswear from leaders like Koret and Alice of California; and a wonderful chapter paying tribute to that most western of fabrics, blue denim. More than 330 photographs and advertisements illustrate the colorful, cheerful, and charming nature of vintage casual clothing. Collectors, designers, and fashion historians will appreciate the profiles of California artisans and their influence on fabric technology. Includes price guide and a helpful glossary of fashion and fabric terminology. $39.95 (BK-2394)

Granted the jeans may be overpriced couture, but the nice thing about California Casual style is that you can dress up a pair of jeans and pretty much go almost anywhere. It is certainly a more comfortable way of dressing!
