No offense, but what is wrong with your very own idea "educational activities"? I volunteer for a charity organization and we always use the term "educational activities" unless the activity itself is so specific that it has its own term. Awareness-raising activities are not necessarily educational activities while educational activities can be awareness-raising. Charity organizations often organize many different types of educational activities for children, young adults and adults that can range from basic education, professional training to personal formation and development. I wouldn't beat yourself in the head too much on this one and just go with what is obvious, unless you have more specific information that we don't.
