These words come from a phrase about the values of a charity:
"Giustizia, dignità umana, democrazia, solidarietà, impegno, sobrietà"
I do not think that "solidarity" is a good word to use in English and have used "social inclusion" in other parts of the text, but have seen this word translated elsewhere as "equity".
I have no idea how to translate "impegno" and "sobrieta". I think that they might mean some sort of commitment and no-nonsense attitude, but can't find a catchy phrase for them that sounds "English" and not like some sort of "translatese".

"Solidarity" in the sense of charity has now firmly entered the English language. Alternatives are charity or altruism. I have put humility for "sobrietà" although humility is a step further, but I doubt the charity would object. I feel that sobriety goes too much with not being drunken in English

: I like Jim's interpretation very much and also agree with the comment on humility. Temperance still largely smacks of the temperance movement and serious-mindedness might do for **sobrietà** but humility is rather inspirational, as Jim implies.

Yes solidarity does have some associations which you might want to avoid but it's still a good translation-altruism is very similar in meaning although not "catchy" and temperance is more positive than sobriety as has the idea of -nothing to excess- rather than abstinence. Finding that "catchy" phrase may prove more difficult-good luck!

My take on it, very slightly different from previous suggestions: 'support' to me seems more 'hands on' and 'restraint' seems more 'no nonsense' as Lara suggested (and avoiding any OTT biz).

a caring, committed, down-to-earth approach
I know you have a string of nouns but to my ear it might sound better to turn them all into adjectives, describing the charity's approach. I agree with Jim that solidarity is now firmly established in Brit vocab since Solidarnosc became well known. If staying with all nouns, 'sobrietà' could still be a 'no-nonsense', no-frills or down-to earth approach.
