Has anyone got a good English translation for this? I am unconvinced by suggestions on Multitran such as "act of transference and receipt".

I thought this question had been answered before, but if so, I can't find it. This is what I would use. I don't think "acceptance and handing-over" or anything of that sort is necessary, if it is accepted it can be assumed to have been handed over.

: Yes it sounded familiar to me! I might put "Deed of Acceptance", but "Acceptance Certificate" is just as good.//Levan's DAA is purely slavic from Google, and not really a translation. It's more like OAO etc.

: delivery-acceptance act, т.к для передающей и принимающей стороны подписываются 2 таких акта, причем для обеих сторон название одинаковое delivery-acceptance act

: I know there is a Kudoz question on DAA, but that's like asking what's the Russian for OAO. The translation of Акт in this context is rarely "act", but more often "deed" or "certificate".

David, I worked for UK (Scotish) Morrison Construction Ltd for 2 years. We got tons of materials and goods from all over the world since constructing a hotel. Trust me, the 'ACT' is ok. :-)
