Коллеги, помогите, пожалуйста, перевести, чтобы сохранился пренебрежительный оттенок, если это возможно - слово повторяется многократно в тексте

речь идёт о воспитателях детского дома, которых дети называют "воспитки"

я думаю, воспитатель в дет. доме это supervisor

But to add that loving touch you want, make him "that *sshole of an ...", "that piece of sh*t (cake :)", "that freaking ...", etc. The list is endless so just make up your mind about how much contempt you really need there :)

I'm overdoing it a little (that's too strong!) but only just to illustrate my bright idea :)

agree Maria Sergeeva : You can also do it this way with a bit of sarcasm so as not too over-the-top-- "Oh great, there's our lovely teacher again" "the wonderful teacher thought it'd be a good idea", "the amazingly smart teacher decided to.."
