Lab report - El Salvador
I'm translating a lab report for a patient from El Salvador. Any idea what "Prop. Soc." stands for before the name of a laboratory in El Salvador? It is part of the laboratory's seal.
The seal says "República de El Salvador. C.S.S.P. Laboratorio XXX. No. Inscrip. XX. Prop. Soc. Laboratorio XXX. San Salvador, San Salvador."

As far as I can tell, it seems to apply mostly (or exclusively) to laboratories. My best guess is that's similar in function to "denominación social" or "razón social" in Mexico, but I can't find any references anywhere. Perhaps someone familiar with business/medical registration procedures in El Salvador can shed some light on this.

: Yes, that's it - but 'Messrs.' should not feature here; it is rarely - if ever - used with the names of companies nowadays - even English law firms have jettisoned the term

Thanks, Chris. Re Messrs., and not seeing the full extension to the organisation's name, I wanted to leave open the option of the Sociedad being a partnership & Co. vs. & Co. Ltd.
