Discussion

neilmac (asker) Dec 1, 2008:
I have not deliberately "asked this twice" ... what often happens is that when entering a question the window closes and I have no way of knowing whether the query has been properly sent or not. I click on the "answer questions" section and if my query isn't there, I presume it hasn't been sent and do it again. The fault is with the proz interface. The same thing happens with language pairs. sometimes when I switch back from one to another, it doesn't work and the next query enters the wrong section. I think these aspects of proz needs tweaking...

You´ve asked this question twice, Neil!

the costumes

As I understand it is from Spanish to English,... not very sure after the previous agrees!
Probably because of the context in your answer, about "traxes" being an equivalent to "trajes", both in Spanish, may have mislead answwers, which as far as I understand they are equivalent (old and actual spanish!)
In any case, as far as I understand, the term "traxes" (old Spanish) or "trajes" (actual Spanish) refers to "costumes", specially in the context of History.
Hope it helps, A.

This is the best translation, under a History concept, I can come up with.
