ProZ.com powwow: A drink at The Vic

Good day friends and fellow linguists!

It is high time for another Powwow. Unfortunately, Sarah and Stephen are still hiding in the hills of Andalucía, which means that I will be your host on this occasion.

The event will be take place at The Victoria Hotel in Beeston and start at 3pm. However, I will there indulging in a bar snack at around 2.30pm and you are very welcome to join me.

The pub is close to the Attenborough Nature Reserve, which is ideal for walking and exercising pets. What’s more, dogs are allowed into The Victoria Hotel, so let me know if you fancy a stroll before we meet. I’ll be walking my faithful four-legged friend before we get together and it would be great to have company. Otherwise, I'll see you at the pub later on.

I really hope you can make it to this Powwow. There are good transport links to Beeston train station and if anyone needs a lift, just holler.
