Scan workflow
Acquire a scout
Use this procedure to acquire a localizer from which you can prescribe the scan locations.
Confirm that the orientation of the patient matches the orientation of the patient in the Patient Position and Series Level Functions area of the Scan desktop.
Click the picture of the patient on the body to change the Head/Feet first orientation.
Click the picture of the patient on the table or above the body to rotate the body at 90° increments.
From the ViewEdit screen, confirm the start/end locations, kV, mA, and Auto Voice (if applicable).
To change a parameter value, click the box and type in the new value.
Click an individual cell under a parameter column to adjust only the factor in that group.
Click the parameter column from the top row to select all of the factors directly below the selected column and to adjust that factor in all of the images.
Click Add Scout or Delete Scout to change the number of scouts.
Technique factors are set low (120 kV and a low mA are common), since these scans are normally only used for planning purposes.
Set the Scout Plane to designate the type of scout to acquire.
0 = 12 o'clock, 90 = 3 o'clock, 180 = 6 o'clock, or 270 = 9 o'clock
Show Localizer is only available if the scout has been acquired at 0, 90, 180, or 270.
Click Scout WW/WL and type desired values in the field and click OK.
When performing a gated exam, set up the patient monitor and check the status of the Gating icon to verify that the system is receiving the ECG1 monitor signal.
If the Gating button is blue, gating is not enabled.
Click the button to enable gating.
If the Gating button is yellow, an ECG signal is being received and you can proceed.
If the Gating button is red, no signal has been detected by the system.
The system displays a message to check the connection.
Check that all ECG leads are connected to the patient and that power is on to the monitor.

Click OK to close the message.
Clear the scan room of any unauthorized personnel.
On the left monitor, click Confirm icon.
Press Move to Scan.
The button illuminates on the SCIM and flashes green, indicating you need to press the Move to Scan button.
If you need to stop table movement, press Stop Move.
Press Start Scan.
If you need to stop the scan, press Stop Scan.
If you need to pause the current scan, press Pause Scan.
This finishes the current scan, then pauses the next scan.
A Resume button displays on the screen.
Click Resume when you are ready to scan.
Repeat steps 8 and 9 to acquire the second Scout scan.
Proceed to Set the scan parameters procedure to acquire the Scan data.
If you change the Landmark after the scout has been taken, Graphic Rx does not allow this scout to be used for Graphic Rx.
AutomA/SmartmA will be disabled.
Acquire a new scout when the landmark is changed.
Bands and lines may be seen on scout images if there is a tube spit or the reference channel is blocked during the acquisition.

Tento postup použite na získanie lokalizátora, z ktorého môžete predpísať umiestnenia snímania.
Overte si, že orientácia pacienta zodpovedá orientácii v oblasti Patient Position (Poloha pacienta) a Series Level Functions (Funkcie úrovne série) na pracovnej ploche Scan (Snímanie).
Kliknutím na obraz tela pacienta zmeníte prvú orientáciu Head/Feet (Hlava/Nohy).
Kliknutím na obraz pacienta na stole alebo nad obraz tela môžete otáčať telo postupne o 90 stupňov.
Na obrazovke ViewEdit (Prezeranie/editovanie) potvrďte počiatočné/koncové umiestnenia, hodnoty kV, mA a Auto Voice (Automatický hlas) (podľa potreby).
Ak chcete zmeniť hodnotu parametra, kliknite na textové pole a zadajte novú hodnotu.
Kliknutím na jednotlivú bunku v stĺpci parametra môžete upraviť faktor iba v danej skupine.
Kliknutím na stĺpec parametra v hornom riadku sa zvýraznia všetky faktory nachádzajúce sa priamo pod vybraným stĺpcom, takže môžete upraviť daný faktor vo všetkých snímkach.
Kliknutím na položku Add Scout (Pridať prieskumnú snímku) alebo Delete Scout (Odstrániť prieskumnú snímku) zmeníte počet prieskumných snímok.
Technické faktory sú nastavené na nízke hodnoty (bežne sa používa 120 kV a nízka hodnota mA), keďže tieto snímania sa za bežne používajú iba na účely plánovania.
Nastavte Scout Plane (Rovinu prieskumnej snímky) a označte typ prieskumnej snímky, ktorú chcete získať.
0 = 12 hodín, 90 = 3 hodiny, 180 = 6 hodín alebo 270 = 9 hodín
Funkcia Show Localizer (Zobraziť lokalizátor) je k dispozícii iba vtedy, keď bola získaná prieskumná snímka pri hodnotách 0, 90, 180, alebo 270.
Kliknite na položku Scout WW/WL (Šírka/úroveň okna prieskumnej snímky), zadajte požadované hodnoty do textového poľa a kliknite na OK.
Pri vykonávaní vyšetrenia so synchronizáciou signálu, nastavte monitor pacienta a skontrolujte stav ikony Gating (Synchronizácia) a overte si, či systém prijíma signál z monitora EKG1.
Ak je tlačidlo Gating (Synchronizácia) modré, synchronizácia nie je zapnutá.
Kliknutím na tlačidlo aktivujete synchronizáciu.
Ak je tlačidlo Gating (Synchronizácia) žlté, systém prijíma signál EKG a môžete pokračovať v práci.
Ak je tlačidlo Gating (Synchronizácia) červené, znamená to, že systém nezachytil žiadny signál.
Systém zobrazí správu s pokynom, aby ste skontrolovali pripojenie.
Skontrolujte, či sú všetky elektródy EKG pripojené k telu pacienta a či je zapnuté napájanie monitora.

Kliknutím na OK správu zavrite.
Zabezpečte, aby všetky neoprávnené osoby opustili miestnosť snímania.
Kliknite na ikonu Confirm (Potvrdiť) na ľavom monitore.
Stlačte tlačidlo Move to scan (Posunúť na snímanie).
Na module SCIM sa rozsvieti tlačidlo a začne blikať zelenou farbou, čo znamená, že musíte stlačiť tlačidlo Move to Scan (Posunúť na snímanie).
Ak chcete zastaviť pohyb stola, stlačte tlačidlo Stop Move (Zastaviť pohyb).
Stlačte tlačidlo Start Scan (Spustiť snímanie).
Ak chcete zastaviť snímanie, stlačte tlačidlo Stop Scan (Zastaviť snímanie).
Ak chcete prerušiť aktuálne snímanie, stlačte tlačidlo Pause Scan (Prerušiť snímanie).
Aktuálne snímanie sa tak ukončí a nasledujúce snímanie sa preruší.
Na obrazovke sa zobrazí tlačidlo Resume (Pokračovať).
Keď ste pripravení na snímanie, stlačte tlačidlo Resume (Pokračovať).
Na získanie druhej prieskumnej snímky zopakujte kroky 8 a 9.
Pokračujte v postupe Nastavenie parametrov snímania a získajte dáta snímania.
Ak po získaní prieskumnej snímky zmeníte parameter Landmark (Značka), funkcia Graphic Rx (Grafický predpis) neumožní, aby sa táto snímka používala v grafickom predpise.
Funkcia AutomA/SmartmA bude vypnutá.
Po zmene značky získajte novú prieskumnú snímku.
V prípade znečistenej trubice alebo blokovania referenčného kanála počas akvizície sa na prieskumných snímkach môžu vyskytnúť pásy a čiary.
