Bio
I am Dr. Rommel B. de la Cruz, a resident of 100 Apt. Unit C A.T. Reyes St., Mandaluyong, PHILIPPINES. I have written and published Tagalog and English short stories, poems, and essays. I have translated a drama script and business memos (English-Tagalog-English).

I have completed a PhD in English Studies major in Language (Applied Linguistics) at University of the Philippines Diliman as well as EdD in Management at Philippine Women’s University. Aside from being a professor, I also work as a researcher and a writer. I have written research papers, which I presented at international conferences. I am a regular contributor to a national broadsheet Manila Bulletin Sunday's column "Educator Speakers." In 2006, I was admitted in LaTrobe University in Victoria, Australia for PhD in Linguistics. I was also invited as a visiting professor to Thailand.

Currently, I am appointed as the University Researcher of Jose Rizal University. I am the Editor-in-Chief of Jose Rizal University Business Education and Law (BEL) Journal. As a Graduate School/College faculty, I am appointed as a reader, a critic, and an editor in thesis defense.
