Raised in Japan and living in the United States for nearly 30 years, my cross-cultural experience enriches my language proficiency. My associate degree with a focus on psychology has provided me with a strong academic foundation for communication and social interaction. My translation training is primarily experiential. At Willing, Inc., I translated various materials between Japanese and English, refining my attention to detail. After dedicating over 9 years to volunteering in leadership roles for various organizations and bridging cultural and language gaps in my dual-national family over 2 decades, I have developed skills in fostering connections across linguistic and cultural boundaries.
