Hola,
Estoy traduciendo el acta de una compañía y en cada estatuto me aparece "from time to time", por ejemplo:
"The office shall be in XX at the address the directors may fix from time to time by resolution"
"By-law means any by-law of the company from time to time in force"
¿Alguna sugerencia? No creo que "ocasionalmente" o "de vez en cuando" sea lo más adecuado en este contexto, pero a lo mejor me equivoco.

De acuerdo contigo, el sentido condicional (como "oportunamente", "en el momento oportuno") que conllevan las expresiones "ocasionalmente" o "de vez en cuando" en las frases que propones puede sustituirse por una modificación del verbo. Esta modulación hace innecesario el uso de la explicitación "from time to time".
Es como yo suelo traducir esta construcción en mis trabajos.
Traducciones:
"La oficina se establecerá en.... en la dirección que la gerencia pudiera fijar/pueda fijar mediante resolución"
"Estatuto" alude/corresponde a cualquier "estatuto" de la empresa que se ponga en vigor"
Ejemplo de este uso:
"[...] are provided for in these Rules and the Financial Regulations, or any other rules and regulations ***from time to time in force***."
"cumplirá los deberes prescritos en este Reglamento y en el Reglamento Financiero o en las disposiciones ***que se pongan en vigor***."

Como se puede apreciar, las frases así construidas transmiten perfectamente el significado del texto original y hacen innecesario y redundante el uso de expresiones como "de vez en cuando" y similares.
