Law: Contract(s)
i keep getting conflicting advice on this. for official stuff and legal codes it is apparently "subsection" but is it different for regular contracts. One once told me
odst. 5.2 písm. b)
would be written as
Section(?) 5.2(b)
for contracts. This translation is for regular contracts.

Pokud dobře rozumím otázce, pak ve smlouvě bude vždy odst. 5.2, písm (b), přeloženo jako jako Section 5.2 (b)
Ale například ""v následujícím odstavci" se přeloží "in the next paragraph"

Comment: "It seems that used this way for the EU and maybe laws elsewhere, while private corporate contracts can use paragraph."

: paragraph 5.2(b). However, if the text is divided into sections which are further subdivided to smaller units, I guess you can use subsection as well.
