Danish term

aftrappe

Danish to English Tech/Engineering Engineering (general)
Flg. detail-komponenter skydes ind over InnerLiner og den aftrappede trykarmering i nævnte rækkefølge.

The dictionary says "stepped", but I don't get any hits nor do I understand "stepped pressure armoring". Would "sanded" pressure armoring be what they are referring to?
