I would like to translate "etableret" as "physical presence," and am looking for some feedback on the appropriateness of that.
The full sentence (from a Danish statute), reads:
"§ 45. Afgiftspligtige personer, der ikke er etableret her i landet, ikke er registreringspligtige..."
I would say that "Taxable entities without a physical presence in Denmark..." would sound better than the more litera; "Taxable entities not established in Denmark..."
However, "fost forretningssted" is usually translated to "physical presence" ("or a fixed place of business") -- so the question arrises if there needs to be some distinction between "etableret" and "fost forretningssted"?

Foreign entities without a ‘permanent residence’ in China but importing through a business agent arrangement are equivalents to a ‘permanent residence’.

Comment: "This is one definition for the term etableret, but it doesn't resolve the meaning of the term as used in this particular sense in this particular statute.
I still think that "a physical presence" is what is meant here."
