I have come up with four possible solutions:
1) finished products - Eurogerm's website
2) pre-finished products - web sources
3) ingredients, simply, or maybe components, to posh it up a bit
4) Trial product/test phase product - answer given on this website: http://www.proz.com/?sp=gloss/term&id=858204
I do not exclude any other ideas.
Thanks in advance.

: But as has already been pointed out, there is a need to differentiate here between 'basic' ingredients and this kind of 'pre-processed' ones; their own translation is imperfect in this respect.

: Can you give us an example of several "avant-produits"; are we sure they are pre-processed. There may be a legal definition of what constitutes an "ingredient" for pastry in France.

Comment: "I feel "avant-produits" is jargon and used "ingredients". No need to complicate things: this is stuff that goes into the products. Thanks to all. "

Discussion
I see this more like already-processed (minority) ingredients that will be used to produce the final product; like pie filling, for example, or hazelnut purée...
I think you need to add soemthing to just bald 'ingredients'
You might consider 'preparations', not strictly quite accurate, nor is it the technical term in the industry, but it might get you by.
